Large Amount of Marijuana Not Enough to Prove Dealing Under New Indiana Law
Effective July 1, 2014, the State must have evidence in addition to the weight of the drug to prove possession with intent to deal marijuana. Because of the new law, police may be more aggressive during interrogations to gather evidence of dealing when making a marijuana arrest.
