Michael D. Dean, Attorney
Attorney Michael Dean is a trial attorney with extensive criminal law experience. His jury trial experience includes murder, arson, rape, armed robbery, burglary, aggravated battery, child abuse, narcotics trafficking, and illegal firearms possession.

Prior to joining Gibson Law Office, Mike spent seven years as a trial litigator - first working for an Indianapolis law firm, then as a felony public defender for Wayne County. Beginning in 2013, he served as a deputy prosecutor in the Wayne County Superior Court 1. In January 2015 he was promoted to chief deputy prosecutor for Union County, Indiana where he served prior to joining Gibson Law Office.

Mike received specialized training as a prosecutor that is highly valuable in working as a criminal defense attorney, including from the Indiana State Police and United States Secret Service. He has participated in the Top Gun undercover narcotics investigation school put on by the Indiana State Police at Camp Atterbury military base. This one-week program included live tactics scenarios, simulated covert surveillance, and real-time investigations using experienced narcotics officers as confidential informants. He is also a graduate of two of the United States Secret Service's National Computer Forensics Institute programs: computer forensics and mobile devices in court for prosecutors. This training makes him uniquely qualified to identify issues to attack the State’s case.
